Help Guadalupe keep the Open Hands Pantry pantry stocked
Guadalupe runs a volunteer pantry feeding 65 families; this fund restocks shelves for the rainy season.

Since 2022, our volunteer team has run Open Hands Pantry every Wednesday from the back of a community center. We started with 8 families, and now we feed 65 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 30% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 18 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Saint Paul market and keep every receipt.
Each $35 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $2,700 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $1,900
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $490
• Baby formula and diapers: $310
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
