Help Gloria lay Mavis to rest with dignity in Madina
Mavis passed away on 7 April; we are raising $500 for a respectful funeral in Madina.
🇬🇭 Madina, Greater Accra, Ghana1,725 views
Mavis, my grandmother, passed away on 7 April after a sudden heart attack. She was 91 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $500 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 13 April.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Mavis to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Madina hospice.
Where the $500 goes:
• Memorial gathering for the family: $35
• Funeral home services and casket: $460
• Transport of the deceased: $5
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Sending good thoughts. Your post was clear and honest. Wish I lived closer to Anaheim so I could bring a meal.
Sending strength, Gloria. I hope things turn around soon. Blessings
So sorry you're going through this. Gave what I could, wish it was more. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Take care.
