After the loss of my brother, Giorgia has struggled with anxiety, sleep and panic attacks. The doctor has referred her to weekly cognitive behavioral therapy, but the public waiting list is 9 months, and private sessions at the Latina Counselling Collective cost $60 each. Giorgia has been honest with her employer and taken some time off, but can't keep going without support. Therapy has already helped a little in the sessions Giorgia could afford. The therapist recommends 24 weekly sessions, and consistent help will make the difference.
