Rosa passed away on 24 September; we're raising $3,400 for a respectful funeral in Rome.

Rosa, my grandmother, passed away on 24 September after a short illness. She was 70 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $3,400 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 5 October.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Rosa to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a local food bank.

• Funeral home services and casket: $1,850
• Transport of the deceased: $410
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,140
