Thulani, my father, passed away on 18 November after a sudden heart attack. He was 55 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $1,150 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 5 December. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Thulani to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Pretoria hospice. Where the $1,150 goes: • Funeral home services and casket: $700 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $300 • Transport of the deceased: $40 • Memorial gathering for the family: $110 Thank you so much.
