Help Gerardo start the school year with the right tools
Help Gerardo begin Year 11 with a laptop, uniform and books.
🇺🇸 Florida, United States1,065 views
I earned a place in Year 11 at the Jacksonville Selective School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the mathematics course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $1,000, which is more than we have.
I love mathematics and want to become a marine biologist. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $1,000 goes:
• Laptop: $660
• School uniform and shoes: $200
• Textbooks and workbooks: $140
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
