Help Gareth save Nala - surgery needed
A rescue greyhound named Nala needs orthopedic surgery - a $550 bill the family cannot cover.

Nala is my rescue greyhound of two years. On 26 May we rushed to the Ekurhuleni Emergency Vet Clinic with pyometra. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $550.
They have stabilized Nala, but the treatment can't wait beyond July.
Nala is more than a pet - Nala walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $25 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Ekurhuleni Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $550 goes:
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $90
• Medication and follow-up visits: $75
• Emergency surgery: $385

Keep going, Gareth. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Thinking of Ekurhuleni.
take care, Gareth. Hope you get there. Don't give up.
You're not alone, Gareth. We've got a rescue too so I know how much they mean. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry
Sending love. I hope things turn around soon. Please keep us posted. All the best.
shared it with a few friends. Love from Anaheim

Hope the recovery goes smoothly. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry!
Take care. This could happen to any of us. Thinking of Ekurhuleni.
