Help Ganga keep her home - 3 months behind on rent
A delayed insurance payout left Ganga short on rent for 3 months; help us stay in our home.

Following a long illness in the family, Ganga fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Thursday a court summons for non-payment was taped to the door, and the amount owed is $500.
The landlord was understanding for a while, but has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by July, the family must leave.
There are a toddler and a baby at home. Moving would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
Ganga has started working two part-time jobs, and is applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $500 goes:
• Rent arrears (3 months): $340
• Late fees and court costs: $35
• Utilities in arrears: $25
• First month of rent as a buffer: $100
