Help Galih get through 4 hard months with twin daughters
Galih and twin daughters need a bridge to stability after the death of my husband.
🇮🇩 Jakarta Barat, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia473 views
After the death of my husband in April, I'm now raising twin daughters on my own. I work as a cleaner, but my income doesn't cover rent, childcare and groceries.
I'm retraining as a bookkeeper in the evenings, which will triple my income by July, but I need to bridge the gap until then.
Some weeks I skip meals so my children can eat. I have never asked anyone for help like this before, and I'm doing it for them.
Once I finish my course, I'll pay it forward.
Every cent is accounted for. I'll share a simple monthly breakdown.
Where the $700 goes:
• Rent top-up: $230
• Childcare and after-school care: $240
• Groceries and school meals: $80
• Course fees and exam costs: $150
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Sending love, Galih. I hope things turn around soon. Don't be hard on yourself for asking.
good luck, Galih. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Thinking of Jakarta Barat
