Help Gabriel save Pepper - surgery needed
A German shepherd named Pepper needs orthopedic surgery - a $2,300 bill the family can't cover.

Pepper is my German shepherd of six years. On 17 July we rushed to Brest Veterinary Centre with kidney failure. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $2,300.
They have stabilized Pepper, but the treatment can't wait beyond September.
Pepper is more than a pet - Pepper is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $210 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Brest Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $2,300 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,500
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $420
• Medication and follow-up visits: $160
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $220
Thanks for being kind about this.
- Gabriel

Keep going. Hope you get there. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Brest
Hope the recovery goes smoothly. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Love from Auckland.
So sorry you're going through this, Gabriel. Shared it with a few friends. My neighbor in Newcastle donated after I showed her your page. Take care.
