Help Gabriel pay for a craniotomy at Jacksonville Community Hospital
Gabriel needs a craniotomy at Jacksonville Community Hospital and the family is $2,600 short of the hospital's estimate.

Gabriel was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor in January. The surgeon at Jacksonville Community Hospital recommended a craniotomy, and He is scheduled for March. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $3,450, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $2,600 short.
my father has been in and out of Jacksonville Community Hospital since January. The doctors say a benign brain tumor will get worse without a craniotomy. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $3,450 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Gabriel struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 3 weeks. During that time Gabriel won't be able to work a full shift, so the costs keep growing.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.
Where the $2,600 goes:
• Travel and lodging for the family: $280
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $350
• Hospital stay (3 nights): $1,650
• Post-operative medication: $320
With deep gratitude,
Gerardo

Hope it all works out, Gerardo. Hope the doctors have good news.
Keep going, Gerardo. Hope this works out for you. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Take care.
Thanks for sharing this, Gerardo. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did.
Stay strong, Gerardo. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We're a small family in San Diego but we're thinking of you. Love from San Diego.
Thinking of you and your family, Gerardo. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. Sent it to 26 people at work. God bless.
