Help Furkan keep the Bread & Beans Kitchen pantry stocked
The Bread & Beans Kitchen pantry in Çankaya is running low just as demand rises; $900 will stock it for 10 weeks.

Since 2020, our volunteer team has run Bread & Beans Kitchen every Sunday from the back of a borrowed garage. We started with 13 families, and now we feed 227 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 56% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 18 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Çankaya market and keep every receipt.
Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $900 goes:
• Refrigeration and electricity: $75
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $490
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $335
Every share and every dollar helps.
