Frieda is facing non-Hodgkin lymphoma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Frieda was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in June. The oncology team at Berlin Regional Medical Center has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 8 weeks.
Frieda is 33, worked as a construction supervisor until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Berlin Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.

• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $7,500
• Scans and lab work: $1,000
• Transport to Berlin Regional Medical Center: $480
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $440
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,680
