Luna is my rabbit of thirteen years. On 26 August we rushed to Messina Animal Hospital with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $1,350. They have stabilized Luna, but the treatment can't wait beyond November. Luna is more than a pet - Luna is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $280 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Messina Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals. Where the $1,350 goes: • Emergency surgery: $1,050 • Medication and follow-up visits: $180 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $120 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
