Help Florence restart a fish stall in Machakos after a break-in
Florence has run a fish stall for fifteen years; a break-in destroyed the equipment, and $650 will put it back on its feet.

For fifteen years I have run a fish stall in Machakos. In August, a break-in took a freezer and scales. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Saturday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 10 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $650 goes:
• Replacing a freezer and scales: $440
• Initial stock: the first catch: $120
• Working capital for the first month: $90
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Best of luck, Florence. Small businesses are the heart of Machakos. Hope you're open again soon. Put this on a community board in Hải Phòng this morning. Take care
Shared this with my family. My cousin had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Thinking of Machakos
