Hazel is my rescue greyhound of eleven years. On 24 June we rushed to Santos Animal Hospital with a tumor on the spleen. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $550. They have stabilized Hazel, but the treatment can't wait beyond October. Hazel is more than a pet - Hazel walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $55 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Santos Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
