Help Festus replace the transmission and return to work
Festus's my ride-share car is Festus's only source of income and needs a transmission replacement costing $300.

I make my living with my ride-share car. 10 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $300. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $300 goes:
• Labor charges: $40
• Towing and inspection: $15
• transmission replacement (parts): $245
Thanks for being kind about this.

rooting for you. Looking forward to the next update. After 11 years in construction I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Take care.
Wishing you the best, Festus. Hope you get there. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Blessings
hang in there. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. All the best.
Best of luck, Festus. Gave what I could, wish it was more.
Sending strength, Festus. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes.
