Help Festus keep the Neighbors' Pantry pantry stocked
Help keep a free food pantry open for families facing hunger in Epe.

Since 2023, our volunteer team has run Neighbors' Pantry every Wednesday from the back of the old library basement. We started with 14 families, and now we feed 319 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 53% this summer, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 13 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Epe market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $450 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $270
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $60
• Baby formula and diapers: $50
• Refrigeration and electricity: $70
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Thank you all. We're at 47% now ($213). I'm honestly stunned. the first invoice got paid this week.
Small update. $233 so far, I made the first payment toward rice, beans, flour and oil.
