Help Fernando replace the gearbox and return to work

Without my tuk-tuk Fernando can't work; a $550 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 5 weeks ago the gearbox failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $550. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my 2 children. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $550 goes: • Road tax and insurance renewal: $280 • Towing and inspection: $140 • Labor charges: $130 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support. - Fernando
