I make my living with my motorbike. 5 weeks ago the gearbox failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $50. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my 4 children. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal. Where the $50 goes: • Towing and inspection: $10 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $25 • Labor charges: $15 If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Updates from Fasil

  1. Update from Addis Ababa: I made the first payment toward labor charges. We're at 110% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.

  2. Wanted to say thank you properly. 100% funded and I met with the mechanic and confirmed the amounts.

  3. 10% there. we've started the first stage. Thank you. - Fasil
