Ezra was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in June. The oncology team at the San Francisco Oncology Institute has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in August. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks. Ezra is 32, worked as a bank teller until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the San Francisco Oncology Institute 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $7,700 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $4,700 • Household costs while unable to work: $1,400 • Scans and lab work: $1,050 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $550 Every share and every dollar helps.
