Help Eva keep the Community Pantry pantry stocked
Help keep a free food pantry open for elderly neighbors in Miami.
🇺🇸 United States1,792 views
Since 2021, our volunteer team has run Community Pantry every Wednesday from the back of a school canteen. We started with 22 families, and now we feed 373 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 48% this harvest gap, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 16 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Miami market and keep every receipt.
Each $45 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $1,550 goes:
• Refrigeration and electricity: $320
• Baby formula and diapers: $610
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $620
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

So sorry you're going through this. This could happen to any of us. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
