Help Esi finish a nursing degree at Madina Polytechnic - $650 to go
A first-generation student, Esi needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a nursing degree.
🇬🇭 Madina, Greater Accra, Ghana992 views
Esi is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a nursing degree at Madina Polytechnic, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $650.
The registrar has said Esi can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Esi has a 3.8 average, and a department head has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Esi would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Esi isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Madina Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $650 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $200
• Final term tuition: $380
• Exam and lab fees: $10
• Textbooks and materials: $60

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Esi.
Outstanding tuition balance is $200 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Thanks, that means a lot.
best of luck, Diana. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes.
Take care, Diana. Shared this with my family. Take care.
