I make my living with my food truck. 3 weeks ago the clutch assembly failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $300. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $300 goes: • clutch assembly replacement (parts): $185 • Labor charges: $65 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $30 • Towing and inspection: $20 I hope life is good to you. - Erica

  • Sending good thoughts. Hope the shop reopens soon. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Greetings from San Fernando.
