Help Erica pay for palate reconstruction surgery at Saint Luke Hospital
After a herniated spinal disc, Erica was cleared for palate reconstruction surgery, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Erica was diagnosed with a herniated spinal disc in May. The surgeon at Saint Luke Hospital recommended palate reconstruction surgery, and She is scheduled for August. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,500, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $900 short.
my daughter has been in and out of Saint Luke Hospital since May. The doctors say a herniated spinal disc will get worse without palate reconstruction surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,500 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Erica struggles with daily life and can't climb stairs. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 6 weeks. During that time Erica won't be able to climb stairs, so the costs keep growing.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.
Where the $900 goes:
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $75
• Physiotherapy sessions: $90
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $620
• Post-operative medication: $65
• Travel and lodging for the family: $50
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
