Enrique is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a teaching qualification at the Medellín Institute of Technology, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $700. The registrar has said Enrique can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Enrique has a distinction average, and a professor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Enrique would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Enrique isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the the Medellín Institute of Technology bursar's office.
