Help Emily restart a neighborhood bakery in Melbourne after a long illness and repossession
Emily lost a commercial oven to a long illness and repossession and needs $2,650 to reopen a neighborhood bakery and support the family.

For twelve years I have run a neighborhood bakery in Melbourne. In August, a long illness and repossession took a commercial oven. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Thursday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 5 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $2,650 goes:
• Replacing a commercial oven: $1,300
• Initial stock: flour, butter and sugar: $330
• Shop repairs and licensing: $450
• Working capital for the first month: $570
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

hang in there, Emily. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We're a small family in Leeds but we're thinking of you.
Rooting for you, Emily. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I have a 17 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Love from Mukono
Keep going. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Sent it to 25 people at work.
Take care, Emily. Hope this works out for you. Thinking of Melbourne.
Best of luck, Emily. Hope you make a strong comeback. After 16 years in accounting I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Blessings.
It takes guts to ask. Well done. Love from Rome.
