Help Emil replace the fuel pump and return to work

Without my pickup Emil can't work; a $1,550 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my pickup. 12 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,550. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $1,550 goes: • fuel pump replacement (parts): $1,300 • Towing and inspection: $70 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $180 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself. - Emil

Updates from Emil

  1. Quick update: $883 raised so far (57%). we've started the first stage. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.

  2. Thank you all. We're at 33% now ($516). I'm honestly stunned. I met with the mechanic and confirmed the amounts.
