Help Emery replace the fuel pump and return to work
Without my ride-share car Emery can't work; a $1,350 repair would put her back on the road.

I make my living with my ride-share car. 7 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,350. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $1,350 goes:
• fuel pump replacement (parts): $790
• Labor charges: $330
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $160
• Towing and inspection: $70
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

This could happen to any of us. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Greetings from Corpus Christi
Praying for you. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I'll check back for the next update. Blessings.
Stay strong, Emery. Your post was clear and honest. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. God bless
You're not alone. Shared this with my family. Love from Birmingham
