After a violent robbery, Emery has struggled with anxiety, sleep and panic attacks. The doctor has referred her to trauma-focused CBT, but the public waiting list is 9 months, and private sessions at the Newport Counselling Collective cost $85 each. Emery has been honest with her employer and taken some time off, but can't keep going without support. Therapy has already helped a little in the sessions Emery could afford. The therapist recommends 16 weekly sessions, and consistent help will make the difference. Asking for help with this has been the hardest part for Emery, and we're grateful for your kindness without judgment. Funds cover only therapy sessions, and I'll share progress updates (not private details) if I'm comfortable.
