Help Ella restart a small grocery stall in Toronto after floodwater
Ella lost a cold-storage unit to floodwater and needs $2,600 to reopen a small grocery stall and support the family.

For fifteen years I have run a small grocery stall in Toronto. In July, floodwater took a cold-storage unit. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Sunday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 3 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $2,600 goes:
• Working capital for the first month: $630
• Replacing a cold-storage unit: $1,350
• Shop repairs and licensing: $620
Glad we found this place.

Thinking of you and your family. Small businesses are the heart of Toronto. Hope you're open again soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Thinking of Toronto.
