Help Eliane restart a phone repair counter in São Paulo after floodwater
A phone repair counter in São Paulo needs help replacing a soldering station and testing tools after floodwater.
Anywhere in the world1,845 views
For four years I have run a phone repair counter in São Paulo. In June, floodwater took a soldering station and testing tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Thursday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 5 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $900 goes:
• Replacing a soldering station and testing tools: $480
• Initial stock: replacement parts: $200
• Shop repairs and licensing: $115
• Working capital for the first month: $105
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Eliane
Replacing a soldering station and testing tools is $480 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Thanks for asking.
So sorry you're going through this, Eliane. It takes guts to ask. Well done
Praying for you. Small businesses are the heart of São Paulo. Hope you're open again soon. Wish I lived closer to Hamilton so I could bring a meal
