Help Ebuka keep his home - 3 months behind on rent
A 10-day notice to quit arrived last week. Ebuka needs $200 to clear the arrears and stay housed in Zaria.

After a sudden layoff at the hotel, Ebuka fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Monday a 10-day notice to quit was taped to the door, and the amount owed is $200.
The landlord was understanding for a while, but has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by November, the family must leave.
There are three school-aged children at home. Moving would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
Ebuka has started working weekend shifts, and is applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $200 goes:
• Utilities in arrears: $55
• First month of rent as a buffer: $65
• Late fees and court costs: $80

Rooting for you, Chioma. Hope you get there. My father had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Thinking of Zaria.
Hang in there, Chioma. Hope you get there. Blessings.
