Help Dorcas pay for laparoscopic cyst removal at Mwanza General Hospital
A scheduled laparoscopic cyst removal in October is out of reach without help covering $650 of the cost.

Dorcas was diagnosed with a deviated septum causing chronic infections in August. The surgeon at Mwanza General Hospital recommended laparoscopic cyst removal, and She is scheduled for October. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,100, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $650 short.
my daughter has been in and out of Mwanza General Hospital since August. The doctors say a deviated septum causing chronic infections will get worse without laparoscopic cyst removal. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,100 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Dorcas struggles with daily life and can't climb stairs. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 4 weeks. During that time Dorcas won't be able to climb stairs, so the costs keep growing.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.
Where the $650 goes:
• Hospital stay (4 nights): $290
• Post-operative medication: $45
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $315
Glad we found this place.
