Help Diya restart a fish stall in St. Petersburg after floodwater
Diya has run a fish stall for six years; floodwater destroyed the equipment, and $2,500 will put it back on its feet.

For six years I have run a fish stall in St. Petersburg. In July, floodwater took a freezer and scales. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Sunday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 12 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $2,500 goes:
• Replacing a freezer and scales: $1,550
• Shop repairs and licensing: $630
• Working capital for the first month: $320
I hope life is good to you.

Rooting for you. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. All the best

thinking of you, Diya. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Love from Riverside.
So sorry you're going through this, Diya. Your post was clear and honest. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Thinking of St. Petersburg.
Small businesses are the heart of St. Petersburg. Hope you're open again soon. My neighbor in Toulon donated after I showed her your page. Love from Toulon
