A first-generation student, Diya needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a nursing degree.

Diya is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a nursing degree at Thane Community College, and is two terms away from graduating. She has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $500.
The registrar has said Diya can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Diya has a 3.6 average, and a professor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Diya would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Diya isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
