Help Dinusha restart a small grocery stall in Colombo after floodwater
Dinusha has run a small grocery stall for nine years; floodwater destroyed the equipment, and $450 will put it back on its feet.

For nine years I have run a small grocery stall in Colombo. In August, floodwater took a cold-storage unit. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Friday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 5 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $450 goes:
• Replacing a cold-storage unit: $230
• Initial stock: fresh produce: $65
• Shop repairs and licensing: $95
• Working capital for the first month: $60
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
Updates from Dinusha
Quick update: $216 raised so far (48%). I made the first payment toward shop repairs and licensing. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
