Help Dinesh keep the the Thursday Table pantry stocked
The the Thursday Table pantry in Rohini is running low just as demand rises; $300 will stock it for 11 weeks.

Since 2019, our volunteer team has run the Thursday Table every Sunday from the back of the parish hall. We started with 25 families, and now we feed 358 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 50% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 12 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Rohini market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $300 goes:
• Refrigeration and electricity: $45
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $85
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $170
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
