Help Dina keep the Open Hands Pantry pantry stocked
The Open Hands Pantry pantry in Zagazig is running low just as demand rises; $250 will stock it for 8 weeks.

Since 2019, our volunteer team has run Open Hands Pantry every Thursday from the back of the parish hall. We started with 10 families, and now we feed 219 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 46% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 14 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Zagazig market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $250 goes:
• Baby formula and diapers: $80
• Refrigeration and electricity: $35
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $135
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.
Updates from Dina
Thank you all. We're at 26% now ($65). I'm honestly stunned. I met with the wholesaler and confirmed the amounts.
