Devon has run a laundry service for fifteen years; a fire in the building destroyed the equipment, and $450 will put it back on its feet.

Mandeville
For fifteen years I have run a laundry service in Mandeville. In July, a fire in the building took two washing machines and a dryer. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me. Before that, my customers came every Sunday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 12 weeks. This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment. Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item. Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go. Where the $450 goes: • Working capital for the first month: $195 • Initial stock: detergent and packaging: $110 • Shop repairs and licensing: $145 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly. - Devon

Hope you get there. I went through something like this 7 years ago and strangers helped me out. God bless.

Thank you. If you're in Mandeville I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. It helps to be asked.

Take care, Devon. Shared it with a few friends. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. God bless.

Thinking of you, Devon. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. We're a small family in Monterrey but we're thinking of you. Greetings from Monterrey.
