Help Devi finish a nursing degree at Johannesburg State College - $1,050 to go
A first-generation student, Devi needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a nursing degree.

Devi is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a nursing degree at Johannesburg State College, and is two terms away from graduating. She has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,050.
The registrar has said Devi can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Devi has a 3.8 average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Devi would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Devi isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Johannesburg State College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $1,050 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $490
• Final term tuition: $450
• Exam and lab fees: $20
• Textbooks and materials: $90
