Help Dennis restart a street-food cart in Manila after a storm that collapsed the roof
Dennis lost a gas stove and two refrigerators to a storm that collapsed the roof and needs $550 to reopen a street-food cart and support the family.

For twelve years I have run a street-food cart in Manila. In August, a storm that collapsed the roof took a gas stove and two refrigerators. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Sunday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 5 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $550 goes:
• Replacing a gas stove and two refrigerators: $380
• Initial stock: ingredients: $75
• Shop repairs and licensing: $65
• Working capital for the first month: $30
If you're reading this, thank you.

Thanks for sharing this, Dennis. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Sent it to 30 people at work. All the best.
Best of luck, Dennis. This could happen to any of us. I'm in nursing myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you
