Jose, my grandfather, passed away on 23 June after a sudden heart attack. He was 92 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $4,750 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 8 July. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Jose to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt. Where the $4,750 goes: • Funeral home services and casket: $2,650 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,500 • Transport of the deceased: $470 • Memorial gathering for the family: $130 Thank you for reading my story.
