Deepa is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a degree in civil engineering at Tallahassee State College, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,750.
The registrar has said Deepa can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Deepa has a 3.8 average, and a professor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Deepa would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Deepa isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Tallahassee State College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $1,750 goes:
• Final term tuition: $1,100
• Exam and lab fees: $380
• Textbooks and materials: $270
I hope life is good to you.

Hope it all works out, Pooja. Looking forward to the next update. I'm in engineering myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. God bless
keep going, Pooja. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Love from Likoni.
