Help Dedi keep the the Second Helping pantry stocked
Dedi runs a volunteer pantry feeding 107 families; this fund restocks shelves for the school holidays.

Since 2021, our volunteer team has run the Second Helping every Tuesday from the back of a school canteen. We started with 24 families, and now we feed 107 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 39% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 11 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Surakarta market and keep every receipt.
Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $250 goes:
• Baby formula and diapers: $30
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $200
• Refrigeration and electricity: $20
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
