10 rounds of treatment are planned at Los Angeles University Hospital; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Declan was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in March. The oncology team at Los Angeles University Hospital has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in June. He will be away from work for about 8 weeks.
Declan is 50, worked as a taxi driver until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Los Angeles University Hospital 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $9,050 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $3,450
• Scans and lab work: $1,850
• Transport to Los Angeles University Hospital: $730
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $770
• Household costs while unable to work: $2,250
