David runs a volunteer pantry feeding 207 families; this fund restocks shelves for the winter.

Since 2021, our volunteer team has run the Sunday Shelf every Wednesday from the back of a community center. We started with 11 families, and now we feed 207 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 34% this winter, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 18 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Winnipeg market and keep every receipt.
Each $40 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $1,550 goes:
• Baby formula and diapers: $260
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $1,050
• Refrigeration and electricity: $240
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
