Help Davi through 12 rounds of treatment for thyroid cancer
Supporting Davi through thyroid cancer: medication, transport to Maringá Cancer Centre, and living costs while He can't work.
🇧🇷 Maringá, Paraná, Brazil380 views
Davi was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in October. The oncology team at Maringá Cancer Centre has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in January. He will be away from work for about 6 weeks.
Davi is 26, worked as a farmer until October, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Maringá Cancer Centre 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $2,400 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,150
• Scans and lab work: $450
• Transport to Maringá Cancer Centre: $230
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $150
• Household costs while unable to work: $420
Every share and every dollar helps.
