Help Daniel through 10 rounds of treatment for a rare sarcoma

Daniel is facing a rare sarcoma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Daniel was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in March. The oncology team at Fayetteville Cancer Centre has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in May. He will be away from work for about 5 weeks. Daniel is 35, worked as a shop owner until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Fayetteville Cancer Centre 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $7,850 goes: • Household costs while unable to work: $870 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $490 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $6,490 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

  • Hang in there. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Wish I lived closer to Gangnam so I could bring a meal.

    • Best of luck, Bella. I hope things turn around soon. Take care.
