Help Da-eun replace the rear axle and return to work
Da-eun's my taxi is Da-eun's only source of income and needs a rear axle replacement costing $2,050.

I make my living with my taxi. 7 weeks ago the rear axle failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $2,050. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $2,050 goes:
• rear axle replacement (parts): $1,550
• Labor charges: $165
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $250
• Towing and inspection: $85
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Praying for you. I hope things turn around soon. I went through something like this 14 years ago and strangers helped me out.
Keep going. Shared it with a few friends. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.
Praying for you, Da-eun. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Thinking of Los Angeles.
